Shipping policy
Shipping Prices
We offer free shipping to the US for orders of $25 USD and more, to Canada for orders of $50 USD and more, and to the rest of the world for orders of $75 USD and more. Some countries do not support free shipping. If the website's top banner does not display a free shipping note, it is unavailable in your selected country. For different shipping options with varying speeds and prices, see the next section or visit the checkout page.
Countries Supported
We ship to an ever-changing list of countries. To see where we currently ship to, see the Country/region selector in the footer of our website. If your country is in that list, we ship there, otherwise we do not.
Shipping Options
At checkout, you can find other shipping options besides our economy options.
In the US, you'll find the following options:
- USPS Ground Advantage: Shipped via USPS Ground Advantage. In our experience, it usually takes 2-3 business days for the packages to arrive, but every once in a while packages seem to get stuck.
- USPS Priority Mail: Shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Priority mail is usually similar in speed to First-Class, but we haven't experienced as many stuck packages.
- UPS 2nd Day Air: This option may be used if you have a somewhat time-sensitive package or if you're not a fan of USPS. Our working days may be affected by UPS's holidays.
- UPS Next Day Air Saver: If you have a time-sensitive package. Arrives the next day by the end of the day.
For the rest of the world, you'll find the following options:
- Flat Export: Shipped via Asendia's international export. The shipment is sent via USPS to Asendia who will fly the package to the destination country where it's usually handed off to the local postal service. Currently tracking stops when the package arrives at the destination country. Unavailable in some international markets.
- This option usually charges the least in brokerage fees
- FedEx International Connect Plus: Shipped via FedEx International Connect Plus. Shipments take anywhere from about 3-12 business days. The closer you are to a densely populated hub, the faster you will receive your shipment.
- UPS Worldwide Saver: Premium international shipping that usually arrives in 2-3 business days. See the checkout estimated delivery date for a more accurate shipping time.
We may upgrade or downgrade your shipping to ensure the delivery of your package. In the event of a downgrade, any shipping cost differences will be refunded. We will combine multiple orders and ship in one box unless you ask us to ship the orders separately.
Shipment Time
All shipments are dispatched within one working day from Wisconsin. Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. USPS holidays are exceptions to these days, as they aren't accepting packages. We may also place a notification banner at the top of the page if we cannot achieve this turnaround time in case of order surges, emergencies, or vacations.
Delivery Estimate
A delivery estimate is shown on the product page. In the US, the estimate is given by USPS based on our location, our time to dispatch, and your IP address's location. We've found it to be mostly accurate, but the estimate is only for your estimation and is not guaranteed. Outside of the US, we give an estimated range of weeks for arrival based on our shipping partner's estimate. At checkout, the estimates are given as well but may not match as different methods are used to calculate them.
Customs, Duties, and Brokerage Fees
Taxes and duties are not included on international orders (outside the United States). You are responsible for any duties, taxes, and brokerage/handling fees charged on delivery. At checkout, we may show an estimated import charge based on expected duties, VAT/GST, carrier or postal disbursement/handling fees, and exchange rates at the time of quote. This is only an estimate, and final charges set by customs, carriers, or postal operators may differ. If our estimate is zero, you will see "No estimated import charges." If we can’t generate an estimate, you may see "Import taxes/duties may apply."
Time spent in customs is variable and could be a long time depending on your country and luck. If you have any questions about how we declared or sent the package, feel free to reach out. If you're wondering why it's taking so long in customs, it's best to reach out to your local customs official or postal service for more details. We don't know any more about what's going on in customs than you do.
Duties may be charged by customs based on your country's laws, and the customer is responsible for these charges. If you need documentation on the declared value, country of origin, or HS code of each item, we can offer that to you. We cannot advise on whether certain duties should've been charged, and we suggest that you contact a local professional or research your country's laws.
Brokerage fees are fees charged by the carrier or local postal operator for processing your package through customs, and the customer is responsible for these charges. We've selected shipping options that should reduce these fees, but please be aware that they exist, and feel free to research the options more closely. In general (but not always), our Flat Export shipping will charge the least in brokerage fees due to its use of local postal services.
