I am pretty technical, but not particularly experienced with hardware. The soldering and assembly was easy, and the troubleshooting documentation was exactly what I needed to understand which of my terrible soldering jobs was to blame!

This was my first custom keyboard and I look forward to doing many more.

Didn’t take too long to put together and configure. I had a bunch of fun and I use it as my main keyboard now. I didn’t really have any problems. It all just worked as expected 👌

I’ve been building keyboards for a long time and this is one heck of a great kit. I’ve run group buys, build my own pcbs and sold them, and don’t all the logistics to make this kind of thing happen and what they’ve put together is really a monumental effort.

The premium case is so smooth and luxurious, the pcb was assembled with obvious forethought and care, and everything was packed and put together with love and attention. When I got it, the instructions were absolutely painless and it all came together so much faster than I expected! Thank you so much!

Still getting the hang of typing on this keyboard, parts quality is great. Used the builder to make sure I got all the components needed and had no issues putting it together, just by following the guide.

Fantastic service! Very happy with the 3D builder on the site for selecting parts and visualizing the final board, parts arrived swiftly and were easy to work with. There was a minor mix up with parts that was resolved swiftly and with little hassle.

Board was in great shape, instructions were clear and easy to follow. 10/10 would recommend.

Corne keyboard is great, all parts came exactly as ordered, with appropriate quality and packaging. I ordered the non-solder pieces as I didn't have any soldering equipment, and parts worked perfectly. Build guide had separate sections for solder vs non-solder parts, but non-solder descriptions had no images, so it was difficult to determine which non-solder hotswap parts the instructions were referring to (though once I did, everything went fine). Entire assembly took less than an hour, and keyboard works great. A carrying case would be nice for portability, as I have to replace the acrylic cover due to scratches (no fault of typeractive, i just huck them in my bag).

After pouring over my options I ended up picking this kit for a few key reasons:
1. Hot swap sockets and diodes are pre-soldered
2. All wireless design
3. Works out of the box with Nice!View OLEDs (lower power requirements)

Once it arrived I was able to build it and have it up and running in about 3 hours. I'm very stasfied with my purchase and love typing on my new board. I think if I had one suggestion it would be better QC on the PCB component soldering. My on/off switches are both a little crooked. It doesn't matter much, but aesthetically I wish they were straight.

I got this for my Corne keyboard that I customized using the typeractive build feature and it works great. The bluetooth has a solid connection and the niceview screens are an awesome addition to the keyboard. I'm typing this review out now with it!

I just ordered the partially assembled pcb, which was made very well with no faulty connections or traces. It came out great, and the documentation was so helpful for setting up a customized version of zmk as well as general assembly and troubleshooting. For the price, this is very hard to beat. I would have loved to see an engineering diagram/scaled svg or a 3d file of the pcb for purposes of designing cases, though I may just have not been able to find it

This was my first entry into the world of specialized keyboards and with the nano and no-solder options it was incredibly quick and easy to assemble following the video tutorials. The quality feels high and it is super portable to bring with me to work. Highly recommend.

Really amazing to see how far the DIY keyboard space has come. This makes building your own keyboard way more accessible and saves sooo much time compared to soldering everything yourself. Got my order fast and will likely buy more from typeractive in the future.

The fit and finish of the PCB is impressive. I’ve ordered a lot of hobby electronics over the years and this is the nicest feeling and looking thing I have received. I couldn’t be more happy with the whole experience!

I love this thing, spent way too much time on the firmware and even bought a case to travel with it.

The battery is phenomenal and honestly I love every bit of it.
